Expandglobe in cooperation with PAIiIZ, the Embassy of the Republic of Angola in Poland and the Parliamentary Group Poland-Angola have held on the last 4th of November a conference on Business Opportunities available in Angola for Polish companies. The Seminar counted with the participation of the Ambassador of Angola, Mr. Domingos Culolo, the Member of Parliament Mr. Killion Munyama, the President of PAIiIZ Mr. Slawomir Majman, the CEO of Bank Millennium Mr. João Brás Jorge and the CEO of Mota-Engil Mr. Manuel Mota, among others.
Between January and June 2014 Polish exports to Angola increased by 109%. This is a trend that Expandglobe estimates to continue with a potential 500% growth of Polish food exports to Angola in the next three years period.
Following two business missions to Angola in 2014, Expandglobe has already signed contracts of milk supplies for the large Polish dairy company MLEKOVITA, for apples supplies with company GALSTER and for other foodstuff, valued in total at a target of more than 10 million PLN per year. Non food sectors will also start supplies very soon such as textiles and machinery.
David Valente, CEO of Expandglobe, announced the ExpandAngola 2015 project which will also promote investment projects in areas such as agriculture exploration, food processing, energy production, retail chain development, software and telecoms.
A programme of Business Missions, Seminars and other initiatives will keep boosting Angola as a major potential Partner for Polish companies in Africa during 2015.
